Trio Villa is a triplex single family residence, located at Savar, Banktown, Bangladesh.

This Villa is designed with an intimate layout with balconies at all levels and a triangular roofed porch, mimicking the traditional thatch style impression.

This main residence is setback from the road and boundary and also the front balconies add another layer of barrier that reduces direct noise penetration and heat reflection from the adjoined asphalt road from entering the building. It has direct entry from the road in front, which was the main design consideration here.
The project plot was divided into 4 parts, as the plot owners are four brothers who want to stay connected. One of the left parts of the four sections is for gardening. The main plot of the client is up on the front side and the second plot is his brother’s, which is on the back side. As the family wanted to stay connected along with their residence, the project had to be interconnected by some means, and as a result the façade of the building is connected to the second one through a wonderful veranda, which is predominantly interconnected to both parts.
The first two floors of the residence serve as a living and other facilities and the third floor is for family gathering with sitting area, balcony with pleasing green roof treatment.
