Shohag Residence is a one of a kind, being a renovation project, on a site of 5,784 sft; 4 katha area land.

 

During the early ‘90s the Client’s ancestors had built a two-storied building for their residence, without the help of any architect or designer. With the help of local masons, the ancestors had built this house on 25% of the land keeping the rest as vegetation and garden.

 

The newly designed staircase directs the continuous living and dining space on the ground floor to the first floor. The first floor holds private spaces with bedrooms and bathrooms along with semi private cozy living area and a study room.

 

Both the study and living room looks out on to a semi room with brick pergola screens for privacy.
