The Rajuk Green Office Building was located at Mohakhali, one of the busiest place in Dhaka, being one of the primary commercial hub. There are various categories of commercial buildings and educational institutes in Mohakhali, as a result, it is already a chaotic place and yet equally a very sought out location for major organizations and businesses.
The climate crisis has revealed the poor planning of our cities and the spaces we inhabit. That being the case, one of the driving design consideration was to touch the building with ecological materials, sensible buildings that makes us feel alive. It should be considered one of the vital steps towards a sustainable development for our existing society.
In this project, the main purpose was to incorporate Green in a practical means and to reduce carbon emission. The center of attention of this building is the bold looking auditorium located on the ground floor which apparently is an extended mass coming outside from the inside. Beside the auditorium there is the central waterbody. This full building carries the colour scheme of Black and White mostly, with yellow and orange ones to give it a bold appearance on some parts.
